Inside Sales Administrator:

DESCRIPTION:

Chroma ATE is looking for a qualified Sales administrator to join our Semiconductor Sales Business Unit, located in Irvine Ca. This is a key role, enabling us to achieve our corporate milestones and Business unit goals. You will serve as a point of contact for external and internal customers with queries about products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales representatives. As well as being a key communications liaison between our Taiwan HQ, and it’s logistical staffing. This role will report to the Director of Semiconductor Sales, in Irvine Ca.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of “customer service”, and its best practices. If you have exceptional organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you!

Ultimately, you should be able to contribute and maintain a high quality of customer service and assist our BU in aligning our sales targets, and core business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process Chroma ATE orders via email and/or phone
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Liaise with Accounting and Finance
  • Liaise with Chroma International team members
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Develop monthly sales reports
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and features

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and all MS Office suites (MS Excel in particular), and MS Dynamics
  • Understanding of certain sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under company deadlines
  • Knowledge of some Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a plus
  • Limited travel, potential trade shows, or industry events.

Applications Engineer - PXI & Electronic Test:

DESCRIPTION:

Founded in 1984, Chroma is a world leading supplier of Test, Measurement, Inspection and Automation solutions that is expanding its team in North America and around the world. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience in or understanding of semiconductor test, test systems, bench top and PXI instrument applications.

APPLICATION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop Test Applications with minimal guidance for customer demonstrations
  • Assist clients in converting their previous test processes to a Chroma solution
  • Document all work
  • Author technical aspects of application notes and white papers
  • Support sales calls, build and nurture long term relationships through teaching and problem solving
  • Collaborate technical proposals and presentations
  • Serve as the internal and external expert for your product offering, occasionally working with other sales channels and key customers.
  • Attend North American trade shows, conferences and technical events

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient in LabView, LabWindows, C++, C#, Python, HTML
  • Able to understand electronic devices and develop test solutions using Chroma instrumentation
  • Create an attractive, intuitive user experience through GUIs
  • Excellent presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong listening skills to understand client’s values and dominant needs
  • Highly organized displaying good judgment in time management
  • Self driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's in a technical field (BSME, BSEE, BSc or Industrial Technology)
  • 3 – 8 years outside applications support of software and capital equipment to semiconductor manufacturers

Service and Application Engineer:

DESCRIPTION:

Chroma ATE, Inc., a world leading supplier of Test, Measurement, Inspection and Automation solutions is expanding their team in North America and around the world. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Test and optimize automated equipment in field of semiconductor.
  • Communicate and discuss with customer with testing application upon automated equipment.
  • Determine materials, equipment, and installation sequences necessary to maximize installation efficiency 
  • Determine diagram layouts, orientation, locations, facility requirements, and building features for equipment installation 
  • Assist the kits design and design review of the implementation.
  • Activate equipment and verify system functionality to conform to performance expectations 
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical motor/pneumatic systems
  • Perform calibration, installation, configuration, and recipe tuning of automated equipment
  • Identify equipment deficiencies, HW and SW, or safety issue and feedback to technical team
  • Identify equipment design/assembly issues and feedback to technical or production teams
  • Provide education training of system operation, maintenance, and calibration
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and keep service records
  • Provide operator training for daily operation and preventive maintenance
  • Provide technical support to sales including system demonstration, specifications, and limitations

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Electrical or Mechanical background
  • Computer peripheral knowledge
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings & schematics with trouble shooting/debug.
  • Ability to perform certain work load with hand tools
  • Bachelor's in a technical field (BSME, BSEE, BSCS or Industrial Technology)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bilingual – English/Mandarin
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented
  • SW language knowledge like C++/Python/MATLAB or Labview.

Sales Engineer (Optoelectronics):

DESCRIPTION:

SALES RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for successfully managing sales effort in North America and globally by Generating, Pursuing, Qualifying and Closing Sales
  • Penetrate targeted accounts, identify all decision makers and expand solution market share
  • Make regular sales calls building and nurturing long term relationships through problem solving, knowledge, service and solution sales
  • Create & Present technical proposals and presentations to key decision makers including executive board level professionals
  • Support trade shows and technical events
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, occasionally working with other sales channels and key customers.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Troubleshoot or repair electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Identify equipment deficiencies and feedback to technical team.
  • Identify safety issues on equipment and feedback to management.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and keep service records.
  • Provide technical supports to sales including system demonstration, specifications, and limitations.
  • All other duties as assigned
