Responsibilities

  • The responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to:
  • Test and optimize automated equipment in the semiconductor field.
  • Communicate and collaborate with customers regarding testing applications on automated equipment.
  • Determine materials, equipment, and installation sequences necessary to maximize efficiency during installation.
  • Plan layout diagrams, equipment orientation, location specifications, and facility requirements for equipment installation.
  • Assist with kit design and design reviews for implementation.
  • Activate equipment and verify system functionality to ensure it meets performance expectations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, motor, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform calibration, installation, configuration, and recipe tuning of automated equipment.
  • Identify and report equipment deficiencies (hardware, software, or safety-related) to the technical team.
  • Identify equipment design or assembly issues and provide feedback to the technical or production teams.
  • Provide training on system operation, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Keep accurate service records and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.

Criteria

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Must have current authorization to work in the USA.
  • Knowledge of computer peripherals.
  • 1-3 years of field service experiences in semiconductor and testing equipment
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics, troubleshoot/debug systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools for technical work.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., BSME, BSEE, BSCS, or Industrial Technology).
  • Working location: Milpitas, CA
  • Willingness to travel 35%-50% to customer sites during work hours
